The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes carrying out a risk assessment, appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training. 

General First Aid Courses

Level 3 Award (1 Day)

This is is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, specifically designed for those wishing to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace.

Level 3 Award (3 Days)

This is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, specifically designed for those wishing to act as a first aider in their workplace. 

Level 3 Award (2 Days)

This course has been specifically designed to allow qualified first aiders to update their first aid skills yearly, until requalification training is required.

The qualification is designed to teach learners 'everyday first aid skills' whilst giviing them the knowledge to be able to deal with a range of emergency situations.

This course is designed for those who work in settings that require both first aiders and paediatric first aiders, such as schools, sports clubs or other childcare settings.

First Aid Courses For Schools / Nurseries 

Level 3 Award (1 Day)

Designed in-line with the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework and is ideal for those working in early years settings. It is also ideal for anyone who cares for infants and children, such as parents, guardians and grandparents. 

In-House (1 Day)

This short course is designed for those individuals who have been nominated to fulfil the role of an Emergency First Aider in schools.

Level 3 Award (3 Days)

This course has been specifically designed to meet the criteria set by the Department for Education’s EYFS Framework. It is ideal for nursery workers, childminders and assistants who are required to hold a full paediatric first aid certificate.

Level 2 Award (2 Days)

This 2 day course is ideal for those who have a responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide first aid when dealing with an emergency situation whilst undertaking activities such as sports, swimming, hiking and rock climbing.

This qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers.
